That’s why we’re hitting not 1 but 2 European cities in summer 2024. Download Duolingo now so you can say “hola” to beautiful Barcelona, Spain, and “ciao” to marvelous Milan, Italy, from June 9-16, 2024. 

We’ll start in Spain, taking in the historic architecture including the world-famous La Sagrada Familia. And we can’t leave without indulging in delicious local cuisine and having a sip of Spanish wine! Tapas, anyone? 

The mouthwatering tastes continue in Milan, where the Italians will teach us the tradition of aperitivo, a happy hour like you’ve never experienced before.

And of course, we’ll be visiting Milan’s most famous landmarks including the Duomo di Milano, DaVinci’s The Last Supper mural and the La Scala Opera House. So bring your camera – you’re gonna need it to capture the beauty of our bonus stop, Lake Como!

Depart for Barcelona

Day 2

- Arrive in Barcelona
- Meet our tour guide & enjoy a tour of Barcelona
- Welcome dinner & wine at a local restaurant

Day 3

- Take a stroll through Güell Park and La Sagrada Familia Cathedral
- Enjoy a food tour led by our guide and a food expert with delicious wine this afternoon
- End the evening at a Flamenco show

Day 4

- Enjoy walking tour of Barcelona
- Lunch on your own
- Spend the evening exploring the beautiful work created by Antonio Gaudí
 - Group dinner at a local restaurant

Day 5

- Morning on your own
- Depart to Milan
- Enjoy the evening at the Navigli neighborhood to participate in the Italian tradition, "aperitivo"

Day 6

- Enjoy a walking tour of Milan's most famous landmarks
- Spend the afternoon shopping at the “Quadrilatero della Moda” or the fashion district
- Spend the evening on your own enjoying the beauty of Milan

Day 7

- Spend the day enjoying the beautiful on Lake Como via a group cruise
- Afternoon on your own in the town of Bellagio where you can shop, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant, or take a walk on the boardwalk
- Return back to Milan for the group farewell dinner

Day 8

- Depart back to the states
